13 Jul Digital Oil and Gas is Getting a Makeover
Digital Oil and Gas is getting a much-needed makeover. Read on to see what’s in store.
First of all, thank you very much for subscribing to this article and podcast series. From the feedback I’ve received, along with the many comments, I’ve concluded that my ideas and insights into the challenges of digital innovation in oil and gas fill a valuable need in the market. In the past 18 months, some 23,000 visitors have read an article or two, and the podcasts, now on YouTube, iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify and iHeartRadio, have been downloaded almost 12,000 times. Digital Oil and Gas is almost always at the top of search engine rankings.
But for some time now, I’ve been keen to make changes to the blog site. While it has broadly met my expectations, the design is dated, the user interface is simplistic and the site lacks useful content that many people request. It has no ability to handle commercial things like paid subscriptions, book sales, and on-line training courses. Most importantly, it did not define what I actually do for companies seeking help with their digital agenda.
In April, I kicked off a project to reimagine the site, and to engineer the many changes that I wanted to see deployed. After much work, the new site is ready!
